Air Blow Fans and CDC at Australian Mine Ventilation Conference

ABF's José Martins invited to present a paper

Air Blow Fans and CDC Dust Control are being represented at the Australian Mine Ventilation Conference from 10 – 12 October 2022 in Queensland, Australia.

Engineering Manager at Air Blow Fans, José Martins, will be presenting a paper, “Comparative performance of single and tandem stator arrangements in a one stage ventilation fan,” on the first afternoon of the conference.

José has 33 years of experience as a design engineer, project manager and engineering manager in the aeronautics, oil & gas, and fan engineering industries, as well as 18 years of experience in R&D.

During this time, he has been involved in designing, testing and commissioning axial flow fans from 0.5m to 3.2m in diameter for industrial and mining installations. He has designed fans operating in North America, Southern Africa, Asia and Australia.

We are sure the delegates will benefit greatly from his presentation.

The two South African companies will be hosting a booth together, where they will be presenting conference attendees with their industrial and mine ventilation solutions; solutions that ensure ventilation practices for improved productivity and safety in mining and industry – the main focus of this year’s conference.

Air Blow Fans is a leader in primary and secondary ventilation, while CDC is a principal supplier of solutions for dust capture and dust suppression.
